Was good craic and something a bit different, didn't last very long but wasn't too expensive. Get the large ice glass as you get more free drink!

What a fun date night activity. We loved drinking out of the ice glasses and taking pictures. The coats were a bit sticky and the gloves were too but we loved it!

Xtracold Icebar Amsterdam & 1-Hour Canal Cruise
The ice bar was smaller than expected but very cool (quite literally) to be in. Drinks were tasty. The canal cruise departs from a location that is a 20 minute walk from the ice bar. Would’ve been helpful knowing times of the canal cruise as we missed the last one of the night, which leaves at 10pm.

Stranded on Nova Zembla

Xtracold Ice Bar recreates a historic arctic adventure: While searching for the Northeast Passage, the Dutch explorer Willem Barentsz became stuck between icebergs, and his ship’s crew had to wait out the winter on the uninhabited island of Nova Zembla. They took apart their boat to build a structure, endured starvation, and fended off polar bears until the ice melted enough to build a small craft and sail away.
