The Basics

Stop by Trinity College independently and explore the architectural and historical highlights at your own pace with a self-guided audio tour. Alternatively, take an in-person tour—these typically include visits to other Cambridge colleges such as King’s and Pembroke—to gain a deeper understanding of the Trinity College history. First-time visitors may even prefer to combine an introductory city tour with a stop at Trinity College or opt for a full-day excursion to both Cambridge University and Oxford University.

Sonja was an excellent guide: personable, knowledgeable and fun. Her love of Cambridge and the university was infectious. I would highly recommend this tour, but the guide makes all the difference. We had a much different experience on the Oxford tour.

Francesco, a PhD student at Cambridge, was a wonderfully knowledgeable guide, sharing a wealth of history about the university from its founding, to the rivalry between its colleges, to academics and architecture. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk the full 90 minutes. You will see and learn a lot. Highly recommend.

My family and I went on this tour with Becky as our guide and It was absolutely fantastic. She was knowledgeable on all topics, memorizing multitudes of fun facts and dates, all while maintaining an eloquent and poised speaking presence. She was honest and kind; I would have taken the same exact tour multiple times. The sights were phenomenal and absolutely breathtaking. It was such an incredibly pleasurable experience.
