Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Choose a convenient evening start time and meet your guide near Trafalgar Square for a journey through the city’s gruesome history. Board the ghost bus—a 1960s Routemaster with its own dark history—grab a seat in the shadowy lower or upper deck, and peek out the window as your coach winds through the sinister streets of the capital city.

With such a long and bloody history, many of London’s most esteemed landmarks—such as the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral and London Bridge—come with a side of infamy and mystery. Pass the Tower of London, where many tyrants (and the occasional innocent) met their death by ax, and Westminster Abbey to learn about the ancient royal tombs that were discovered there.

As you ride, hear chilling tales of London’s most prolific hauntings, deadliest diseases, and most depraved characters. Keep your wits as your guide recounts the Whitehall Mystery, a grisly murder case from the 19th century where neither the victim nor the killer were ever identified. Hear chilling tales of the black dog of Newgate Prison and of Sweeney Todd, the demon barber (and butcher!) of Fleet Street.

Your tour returns to the departure point with plenty of time to grab food or drink to warm your chilled soul.

Good London bus tour with a Halloween twist
Nicola_P
, Oct 2021
This is a good sight seeing trip of London with a few dark stories but it lacked Halloween atmosphere. No spooky music and very few added sound effects (the occasional dripping tap or sound effect relating to a story that the conductor told). He had lots of information and stories but it was lost on the audience due to the lack of spookyness!

Sadly Disappointing

Unfortunately we found the tour dull. The tour guide tried his best but you can only do so much without the help of other other characters to help him entertain the guests. Characters at some of the historic sights would have been good, or on the bus to create some atmosphere. The highlight was when a series of police cars blockaded the route for a suspicious vehicle at some traffic lights and we all thought it was part of the tour. It could be so much better… sorry…

Ok, but expensive for what It was

The tour guide Barry was great! Really energetic and fun! But the whole experience was shorter than it suggested it would be and for £72 for three of us it was overpriced for what it was. Seeing London at night was lovely.

We would have really the trip seemed to well done. Unfortunately for us we had a hen party next to us with the obligatory loud mouth shouting and swearing through the entire trip which meant we could hear very little of the stories being told.
