Departure Point

The National 9/11 Memorial & Museum, 180 Greenwich St World Trade Center, New York City, NY 10007-0089
Start your visit to the 9/11 Memorial Museum with a self-guided tour of the exhibitions and multimedia displays. The museum itself is located below the 9/11 Memorial, the reflecting pools that are the footprints of the Twin Towers that fell due to the devastating terrorist attack in 2001.

With your timed admission, you have guaranteed entry to stay for as long as you want. It is suggested that you take at least two hours to wander the museum. This admission saves you time by giving you direct entry into the center with your mobile device.

The museum also includes a pair of main exhibits: a memorial exhibition called In Memoriam, in honor of the people who lost their lives that day in 2001 as well as the people who were killed during the World Trade Center 1993 bombing. The second exhibition is September 11, 2001, a three-part exhibition that tells the tale of the day and analyzes motives for the attacks. It also shows the aftereffects of the attack and how the event changed the world, both locally and globally.

This museum experience brings out the emotions in the guests who visit. Get ready to hear the stories of loss and sadness, of compassion and recovery, as you explore the space.

Very respectful to those who list their lives. Who ever designed the fountains 10 out of 10. A must for anyone visiting the great city of New York. We will never forget.

Tickets scanned as expired

Our tickets didn’t work and when scanned they said expired even though we were there on the right day at the right time. We had to go to the regular ticket office and they were nice enough to make an exception and give us vouchers but we almost didn’t get in. Very stressful.

We spent 5 hours in the museum and could have stayed another hour or two. The memorial is so well done, very moving and emotional. So many stories of those who survived and those who perished. There are no words that can capture the tragic events of that fateful day in American history. God Bless America. I will go back again to honor and remember the heroes and all who lost their lives on 911

The wall of blue, I remember what a spectacular day it started. The missing photos...all around Hoboken we would see these and read. We have moved on with the past always on our shoulders.

The exhibit was great. Would have like more information from a rep at the beginning of the tour. The reps throughout the exhibit were very professional.

It was the most humble experience I have ever had. I could have spent a lot more time than I had there. I would love to go back again and see everything again.
