Michael our guide made the entire experience vivid and personal. We learned more of our country’s history in an hour than during all of junior high. Michael made the historic buildings come alive with humanity in all its complexity. An excellent tour.

Attended the 12 noon tour on 16 April 2021. Our guide was punctual, knowledgeable and professional (and friendly). The tour was interesting and a great deal of information was provided by our guide at each stop, as well as walking between the stops. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and learnt a lot about the fascinating history of Philadelphia. I would highly recommend this tour to any visitor to Philadelphia 5/5 for our guide and 5/5 for the tour as a whole.

Try to get Connor as a guide
pennyzuk

Fabulous walking tour. Connor was very informative — and importantly in a city with plenty of street noise, etc. during a time when face masks are being worn- he spoke loudly and enunciated clearly. We never had a hard time understanding him. He gave a very thorough explanation and description of each site visited and wove together the story of the early days of Philadelphia. I asked a number of questions and he knew the answers and even added more details. It is clear that he knows his history well and that he appreciates how Philadelphia preserves and retains it for all to visit. I have taken many walking tours in many cities and this ranks toward the top. It is especially nice to tour Philadelphia without all the school tours on the street.

We loved this tour, our guide was WELL educated in the history of our nation; but, he didn't just provide the "cold facts" he also provided "fun facts" about our founding fathers, things not everyone knows and it made the tour fun and brought the history to life I would recommend this tour to ALL including families

A Must-do in Philly
Lori_S

Husband, adult son and I took walking tour with Vin. We all loved it! It was very informative & interesting without being boring. Vin spoke well in an engaging tone; and spoke loud enough to hear him through a mask and over city noise. We all learned something new & interesting from the tour. I highly recommend this tour. Walking lets you see things that you wouldn’t see on a bus. Don’t forget to tip your guide.
