Fransisco was an excellent and knowledgeable guide (marine biologist) and gave us some great information about the Whales we spotted, as well as detailed information about the protected puffins. We were on the small RIB boats and were able to get very close to 5 different humpback whales, including a couple that were travelling together. The company was gave us all of the clothing necessary to keep us warm and dry and were extremely helpful. (More detailed directions about where they were located and where to park would have been very helpful). Would highly recommend.

I really cannot fault this experience! We were lucky enough to see porpoise, white beaked dolphins and humpbacks (and of course lots of birds), but even if we hadn't seen any cetaceans, the boat trip itself was fun enough and the views looking back onto the mainland were just beautiful (we got really lucky with the weather too).
Before even getting suited up in the overalls the staff were extremely friendly and approachable and while out on the water both the captain and our guide were very knowledgeable and again super friendly. I unfortunately can't remember our guide's name but joyeux anniversaire (pour samedi) et merci beaucoup!
I received this outing as a present but it is definitely worth the money, I would certainly pay it myself to do it again. It really was the highlight of my 4 night stay in Reykjavik

0/10 for whales, but 10/10 for fun experience. We hit some pretty big waves on the way back, so it was like a water rollercoaster 😂
No whales, unfortunately but we got pretty close to some puffins and other birds. And we got a voucher to try again to see whales (which I did. And I did 😉 )
An Absolute MUST When in Iceland

We were fortunate enough to see a load of Puffins, two Mink whales, a very playful pod of dolphins and a whisper of a porpoise fin on our trip. But even if these elusive creatures had not graced us with their presence, the boat ride itself was worth the money. SOOOO fun!
And both the captain and the guide (Louisa) was very enthusiastic and knowlegdeable about the wild life at sea.
This is recommened for all ages. Low activity level, high excitement level!
Wear a scarf and a hat, even if it’s a warm day. The ocean wind is cold!

During my cruise we were able to see some whales from a distance as they were not interested in our boats at the time. However, being in a smaller boat we were able to move away from the larger boats and found a pod of about 30 dolphins. They were all very interested in our boat and swam very close to us for a long time. It was amazing to see.
Even though the weather was perfect that day, we were provided waterproof coveralls so we could handle much colder and windy conditions.

What a thrill! We got to see whales, puffins, and dolphins that would swim by us almost the entire ride. The seats were very comfortable and even when hitting bigger waves, you never felt it due to the hydraulics of the seats. Even went on a cool joy ride after. Highly recommend! Our guide was thorough and fun!

The service & equipment was good. We saw a few minke whales & dolphins from very far away. They came up too fast for me to capture any photos. Even seeing the puffins on the cliffs was too far away for me although I could zoom in my camera to take some pictures. I was kind of disappointed. May be I'm spoiled by my experience at the Galapagos islands which we could see all kinds of birds very very close.

We had a very nice boat ride. Loved the RIB boat! Our tour was cancelled due to weather conditions and the staff worked to find another time the next day that worked for us. We unfortunately did not see whales, but did see North Atlantic Dolphins and puffins. Our guide was very nice and had lots of great information. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed a peaceful sea and wonderful pre-sunset. Highly recommend.

The boat ride was fast and fun and we did see a few whales for a brief second surface. It is a lot of money to take a chance at a few seconds of spotting a whale but if you love fast boat rides and have never been on the ocean this is a great trip. They tried very hard to get a whale sighting. You never do get to see the back fin or them jumping up in the air. That's probably at SeaWorld!
